The Story of a Volcano.

from £49.00

Shot in Masca Gorge, Tenerife.

A frame of an extremely unique ridge of a volcanic mountain which very likely took millions of years to form. What I find mesmerising in this is that through each layer we see, only God knows what the world looked like at the time. What society was like. What was considered ‘the biggest problem’ at that specific time and if that ‘problem’ mattered for very long. Millions of years later and here we are. Our problems now feel like the biggest out there but give it a bit of time and they’ll become just like one of these layers of lava. Old and forgotten.
